TOKYO (December 14, 2020) - Playco, the world’s first instant gaming company which recently raised a $100 million funding round at a valuation north of $1 billion, has rolled out instant games for Facebook -- Cat Life! and Thug Life. Both games are available for play to Facebook’s 3 billion-plus users and can be played through Facebook’s Instant Gaming platform, which involves no additional app downloads. Users can directly play with their friends through Facebook Messenger or News Feed.

In Cat Life!, players focus on collecting different cat breeds while winning coins, collectible cards, and other prizes by spinning the Cat Wheel. Players can also discover and build over 100 unique rooms and raid other players’ cat rooms for coins and buried treasure. Players will also be able to compete in dozens of fun tournament-style events including the Tasty Tuna Tournament.
Cat Life! is an original game developed by Playco.
Thug Life features a fresh take on traditional social casino games where players will find themselves immersed in unique maps, plots, and twists while leveling up territories and growing their empire in friendly competition with their friends and other players. New territories are added regularly so Thug Life players can continue exploring areas including The Secret Motel, The Hacker Garage, and more.
Thug Life utilizes the new and original clan system developed in partnership with Facebook, where users can play in Messenger chat groups for seamless play. Players can also enter and compete in the live championship and tournament events, giving players the ability to cash in on rewards and add coins to their account.
Thug Life was originally developed by Chobolabs, a Formation8-backed gaming company that has raised $10 million in funding. Chobolabs is now part of the Playco team with Deyan Vitanov, former CEO of Chobolabs, leading marketing as Playco’s Chief Marketing Officer.
Cat Life! and Thug Life are the first games Playco has announced since its September 2020 Series A funding. Playco has also developed other games including Snake Squad on Snap and EverWing on Facebook.
